Private Clientship
Slatebridge is a private, ongoing relationship—not a series of isolated appointments.
I work personally and directly with every client. Your place on the roster includes one private monthly session, along with reasonable access to me between sessions by text and email when the work calls for it.
There is no standard curriculum and no predetermined sequence. The work follows the life in front of us—marriage, intimacy, parenting, communication, relationships, habits, perspective, competing priorities, or whatever else deserves serious attention.
When structure helps, individual modules are available to create rhythm, sharpen focus, or take us deeper into a particular area. They support the work. They do not dictate it.
Sometimes something important needs to change. Sometimes a smaller point of friction needs attention. And sometimes very little is broken—we are strengthening what already works, refining what could work better, and addressing small points of misalignment before they become costly ones.
The relationship is personal, adaptive, and built to last long enough to matter.
The Rhythm
The monthly session is the center of the relationship.
It gives us a consistent place to address what matters, revisit what has changed, and decide where the work should go next. Some months will build directly on what came before. Others will be shaped by something entirely new.
If something deserves attention between sessions, I am reasonably available. That access is there when it is useful, but it is not intended to become the center—or the rhythm—of the work.
The Commitment
Meaningful change does not follow a fixed timetable.
Some things change quickly. Others take longer to recognize, understand, correct, and make durable. The relationship becomes more useful as context accumulates, patterns become clearer, and the work becomes increasingly specific to your life.
For that reason, I ask new clients to begin with an informal expectation of approximately eighteen months before significantly reconsidering the relationship or its cadence.
That is not a contractual commitment, and eighteen months is not an artificial finish line.
It is simply a reasonable horizon for work intended to produce more than temporary improvement. From there, the relationship continues for as long as it remains valuable.
Investment
Slatebridge operates on a suggested monthly fee.
The fee reserves your place on the client roster and reflects the value of the work, the personal nature of the relationship, the access involved, the discretion it requires, and the limited size of the Slatebridge roster.
The suggested fee matters. It is also intentionally not used as a rigid gate.
If someone is a strong fit for Slatebridge and genuinely wants to do the work, I do not want financial circumstances alone to determine whether the relationship is available to him.
Most clients are generous and value the work appropriately. When someone is not presently in that position, we handle it directly and in good faith.
The goal is not extraction.
For Slatebridge to be what it is, the relationship must serve the client’s needs long before it serves any of mine. The economics support the work and make it a viable endeavor for my family and me; they do not govern the relationship.
That principle is fundamental to the relationship.
Start With a Conversation
There is no application to complete and nothing to prepare.
We begin with a private conversation about what brought you here, what deserves attention, and whether Slatebridge is the right fit.
No payment is required to schedule that conversation. A payment method is required only before the first formal session.
There is no obligation to continue.
If the fit is right, we begin.
